Wendy Hairel, North Dallas KidStage owner, has worked with children for many years. Besides raising four children with her husband, John, she has taught preschool, piano lessons and worked extensively with church youth groups. In fact, while teaching a drama unit, she discovered how much she loved teaching acting.

It brought back fond childhood memories of her mother, who taught drama classes in her basement to all the neighborhood children. Her mother was also a well known actress in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Wendy participated in productions with her.

Five years ago, Wendy continued her mother’s legacy by starting her own acting program in North Texas. She purchased a KidStage franchise and the rest is history. KidStage has received a warm welcome from school districts and recreational facilities for its after school and summer programs. It has touched the lives of many children, helping them increase self confidence, overcome insecurities and have fun!
